THE 4TH ANNUAL GRADUATION
December 5th 2025, a chilly morning with partly cloudy, cold but one also feels the warmness of the sun from a far. At exactly 8:30Am, we began the graduation procession from our main campus in Thika Flame tree building, Uhuru Street Thika opp. Nysis plaza, Thika, Kenya with our focus being Thika Stadium where the big day is going to be commemorated.
At Thika Stadium, the main tent is full of Family, Friends, Spouses, Children and distinguished guest who came to show support to graduants.
Led by the prisons band, we marched, took selfies, celebrated with singing and dancing as we headed to Thika Stadium. We brought the town to a stand still with everybody admiring the graduation frenzy portrayed by our graduates.
The procession arrived at Thika Stadium at around 9:00Am and just 5 minutes later there arrived our Director Prof George Maina, Hon Babu Owino Mp Embakasi East, Presiding Minister Evangelist Lucy Wa Ngunjiri and our able Principal Sir George Kairu which signified the commencement of the main event.
The Emcee of the day climbed up the stage and signaled for a word of prayer then the national Anthem from the prisons band. Hearts pounding with joy and anxious for commissioning, graduants followed through with smiles and celebrations whenever mentioned, selfies filled the room with every one wanting to capture the moment.
All student speeches indicated that all are ready to go out and practice the first hand skills gained from Milestone Institute of Professional Studies while on the other side our chief guest and Director emphasized on innovation and putting more resources on Technical skills.
Finally, the moment came for the conferment of Certificates and Diplomas by our Director and it was indeed a blissful moment that was marked by different happy emotions from across the board, Graduates, Parents, Friends and Family and all that graced the event. This day saw a confirmation of 800 graduates.
